This church mural, painted 4' × 8' for the baptistry at West Highland Assembly of God Church, is a peaceful and deeply spiritual scene of renewal, grace, and divine presence.
A soft river flows through the landscape, surrounded by gentle hills, trees, and open sky. From above, a radiant beam of light shines down upon the water, where a white dove appears within the glow. The dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit, while the light represents God’s presence, blessing, and the sacred meaning of baptism.
Because this mural hangs over the baptistry, the water becomes more than part of the landscape—it becomes a symbol of cleansing, surrender, and new life in Christ. The peaceful setting invites reflection and worship, reminding viewers that baptism is both a public step of faith and a beautiful moment of spiritual rebirth.
Though the original mural was created on a large scale, smaller prints are available, allowing this meaningful image of faith, hope, and renewal to be shared beyond the church walls.
